Lean Manufacturing Basics and Applications
Course Description
This
course covers the basic concepts of lean
manufacturing, implementation guidelines, and
lean applications. This course includes the
seven wastes of manufacturing, flow, quality
feedback, lean measurements, lean business case
development, and change management. The trainee
will be able to:

Understand and describe the basic lean
concepts;

Describe and identify the seven wastes of
manufacturing;

Discuss the basic strategies and issues of
implementing lean; and

Discuss the application of lean in both a
new and an existing facility.
Who should attend the course?
All levels of company management at various
departments and functions, technical and
supporting office staff, and shop floor
supervisors and operators.
